dsh-web-search — multi-provider web search for ctx.web: Baidu, Doubao, Tavily, Exa, Serper. web_fetch can use Tavily Extract, Exa Contents, or DSH built-in HTTP independently of the search backend.

Installing a plugin runs third-party code in the harness process with your permissions. Review the source before you install.

Develop

Requires Node.js ^22.11.0 || ^24.0.0 || >=26.0.0 and pnpm 10.

pnpm install
pnpm test
pnpm typecheck
pnpm build

Load a local checkout into a profile (relative paths resolve against the profile directory, not cwd):

dsh plugin --profile web add "$PWD/packages/dsh-web-search"
dsh plugin --profile desktop add "$PWD/packages/dsh-web-search"
dsh --profile web --dump-config | grep dsh-web-search

From Git (subdirectory):

dsh plugin --profile web add github:yugasun/dsh-plugins#path:packages/dsh-web-search

pnpm ≥10 may ask you to allow the package prepare script (allowBuilds) the first time you install from Git.

Release

Versions and npm publication for every public package under packages/ are managed by Changesets and GitHub Actions.

For a package change, run pnpm changeset, choose the affected packages and semantic version bump, and commit the generated .changeset/*.md file. Use pnpm changeset:status to inspect pending releases; PR checks run pnpm changeset:check, and pnpm check runs the full local validation.

After the PR merges to main, GitHub Actions creates or updates the Version Packages PR. Merging that PR versions and publishes all pending packages through npm Trusted Publishing/OIDC. Normal releases need no local npm authentication, token, or 2FA.

See CONTRIBUTING.md for the complete release flow.
